When you write, please include your app version, your iOS version, and the steps that lead to the problem. You do not need to send your journal entries, detailed location history, or your whole photo library.

My photos don't appear

Check Settings → LayerYear → Photos for the access level. With "Selected Photos", only the photos you picked are shown. Photos taken before you installed the app also appear on their dates as long as they are still in your library. If you use iCloud Photos, a photo may look blank briefly while the original downloads.

My location isn't being recorded

Check Settings → LayerYear → Location. "While Using the App" records only while the app is open; "Always" also records as you move while the app is closed. Movement from before you installed the app is not available as device location, but photos that contain location data are used to fill in past places.

My records don't show on my other device

Make sure both devices are signed in to iCloud with the same Apple Account and that iCloud Drive is on. The Settings screen shows the sync status. The first sync takes a while when there are many records.

The weather is empty

Weather is not shown when the location for that day is unknown or when there is no network connection. For past dates, the app shows the value it recorded at the time.

I want to delete my records

Individual records can be deleted from the record itself. Your entire location history can be deleted at once from Settings. Photo originals are managed in the Photos app. Records synced to iCloud can be managed in Settings → Apple Account → iCloud on your device.
